Sandeep Machines Pvt.Ltd. is located at B-1/976, Rajpura Road. It is a straightforward place. We do not have much in the way of a front office, mostly just the workspace where the real stuff happens. The road outside can get pretty hectic with the bikes and the lorries, but once you step inside, it is all about the work at hand. We handle a lot of different machines here. Sometimes it is repair work, sometimes it is making something from scratch. It is a lot of standing on your feet all day. We try to keep things organized, but in a machine shop, things tend to get a bit cluttered. We have got piles of scrap in the corners and tools hanging on the walls where they have been for years. It is a lived-in space. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just work with metal. The windows are high up and a bit grimy, so we use a lot of overhead lights. It is a good group of people here, mostly locals who live nearby. We take our breaks when we can and usually have some chai brought in from the stall down the street. It is a basic life, but it is ours. We do not need a lot of fuss to get the machines out the door. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day.
