Samta Metals

Samta Metals is tucked away in the Gill Super Cycle Market in Janta Nagar at B-22/3245. If you know the cycle market you know how crowded it gets with bikes and parts everywhere. Our shop is right in the thick of it. There is barely enough room for two people to walk side by side in the aisles because we have so much metal inventory. Everything smells like oil and cold steel. We’ve been here for years and have seen the market grow and change around us. Most of the other shopkeepers are friends and we often share tea in the mornings. The shop doesn't have much light so we have to keep the fluorescent tubes on all day long. They hum a little bit but you stop noticing it after an hour. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. We just have a landline that has a very loud ringer. Most of our day is spent unloading crates or counting out small parts for the local mechanics. It’s a busy life and it’s always dusty because of the cycles moving in and out of the market. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a metal shop in a cycle market trying to get the job done right every day.
