Sai Public Senior Secondary School

Sai Public Senior Secondary School is located on Barota Road in the New Shimlapuri area. If you’re familiar with this part of Ludhiana, you know it’s a pretty active neighborhood. The school building sits right there, 141003 is the area code. We’ve got students from all over the nearby streets coming in every morning. It’s a senior secondary setup, so we have the older kids who are getting ready for their big exams and the younger ones still playing during recess. The playground isn't huge, but it gets the job done when it’s time for physical education. Inside, the classrooms have those old wooden desks that have been used by many students before. We try to keep things running on a tight schedule, but sometimes the morning assembly runs long or the bell rings a few minutes late. It’s just the way things go here. The staff room is usually a bit crowded with books and papers piled up on the tables. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning, just the ceiling fans humming along during the hot months. Parents often drop by to talk about how their kids are doing, and we just sit down and have a chat. It’s a very local kind of feel, nothing too formal or stiff. We’ve been part of the Barota Road community for a while, just being a normal school for the neighborhood families.
