We are located in Sains Market along the Kohara Road. It’s on the Sham Nagar Main Road stretch. If you are walking through Sains Market, you will see our small stall where we make stamps. It is a small business. I sit here with the rubber and the carving tools most of the day. Making stamps is about being careful with the letters. One small mistake and you have to start over. Kohara Road is always busy with people traveling between towns. Sham Nagar has grown a lot, but this market stays the same. We make all kinds of stamps for offices and personal use. It’s not the kind of job that makes you rich, but it’s steady. I have a small table and a few stools for people to sit on while they wait. The smell of the ink and the rubber is something I’ve gotten used to over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a lamp to see the small parts. It is just me working here most of the time. People stop by on their way to work or when they are out shopping in the market. It’s a simple shop with a wooden counter. I don’t have any big machines, just the old-fashioned way of doing things. It’s what I know how to do. You just look for the sign in Sains Market and you will find me there.
