Rathour Foundry Works

Running a place like Rathour Foundry Works is a lot of sweat and heat. We are located at Plot No 77 and 78 in Laxman Nagar. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Gurdwara in Sham Nagar Doddaballa Pur. It’s a busy area and the sound of the Gurdwara is always in the background. My father used to say that metal work isn't for everyone because of the smoke and the heavy lifting, but we have been doing it for a long time now. The foundry floor is always covered in sand and bits of scrap metal. We wake up early to get the furnaces going because they take a while to get hot enough. It’s a messy job, but someone has to do it. We don't spend much on advertising or fancy signs. Most people just walk in or call because they heard about us from someone else in the market. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big gate and some sheds. Inside, it’s a different story with all the molds and casting happening. We deal with whatever orders come our way, sometimes it’s small parts and sometimes it’s bigger stuff. We just try to get the work done right so nobody has to come back and complain. That is how we have stayed here all these years and kept the fire going.
