Omaxe Cranes

Our place is out on Kalakh Majri Road, in Village Rangian. If you know the Dehlon area, we are just near there. It's a quiet spot until the engines start up. We have the cranes parked in the yard most of the time when they aren't out on a job. It is a family thing mostly. We spend a lot of time on maintenance because these machines take a beating on the dirt roads. The yard gets muddy when it rains. You have to be careful where you step. We handle various lifting jobs around the village and the nearby towns. People call us when they have something heavy that just won't budge. We don't have a big office or anything, just a small room where we keep the keys and the logbooks. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a chat while we are greasing the joints. It's a lot of manual work and making sure the cables are good. The sun gets hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early if we can. Village life is slow, but the crane work keeps us busy enough. We know all the backroads around Dehlon by heart now. It is just honest work with heavy iron. We've been here long enough that everyone knows where the crane yard is. It gets noisy when the engines idle, but the neighbors are used to us by now.
