Davinder Cranes

We are tucked away in Mankoo Mkt, right in Phase V of the Focal Point area. Davinder Cranes has been operating out of this market for a good bit now. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise and people moving parts around. Our yard is usually full of our equipment and maybe a few pieces we are working on. You won’t find any salesmen here. It’s just the guys who drive the cranes and keep the engines running. The Focal Point area is always active, so there’s always something that needs lifting or moving. We spend a lot of time just making sure the cables are good and the hydraulics aren't acting up. Sometimes we stay late to finish a job because that’s just the way it is in this business. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big lobby. Most people just walk in and ask if we are free. It’s a practical setup. We know the streets around Mankoo Market and Phase Lll like the back of our hands. Dealing with cranes is heavy work and it shows on our faces by the end of the week. We just try to be useful to the shops and factories around us. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s what we know. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the machines where they need to go without much fuss. If the weather is bad we just wait it out in the shop until things clear up.
