Canary Crane Service

Down at 28 Raekot Phase 5, that’s where you’ll find Canary Crane Service. It’s a simple yard, nothing more than what’s needed to keep the cranes parked and the gear dry. We started out with just one small crane years ago and slowly added another when we could. It’s mostly family here, so we all know who is doing what. We don't have a receptionist, so the phone just rings in the shop or on one of our belts. Sometimes we miss a call if we’re under a truck fixing a belt, but we always call back. Phase 5 is a decent area for us. We can get to most places fairly quickly from here. The work is mostly the same every day, but occasionally we get a weird request that makes us think. We don't really do advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they saw one of our cranes out on a job somewhere. We keep things pretty informal. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea or cleaning off some engine parts. We don’t pretend to be anything other than what we are. Just local people working with heavy machinery. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but our little spot stays pretty much the same. We don't mind the noise from the street as we are used to it by now and it just becomes part of the day.
