Ram Nath & Sons

Our shop, Ram Nath & Sons, is located at Ashiq Chock, right across from the Sahara India building. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always the sound of horns and traffic outside. The business has been in the family for a bit, and we’ve kept it going through all sorts of ups and downs. The interior is nothing to write home about, just some sturdy wooden counters and a lot of storage bins for parts. We handle a bit of everything when it comes to technology. People bring us their old machines, hoping we can squeeze a few more years of life out of them. We don’t try to sell anyone things they don’t need. If an old computer is beyond saving, we’ll tell you straight. Our desks are usually piled high with various projects, and there’s always a tangled mess of wires somewhere that needs sorting. We open early and stay until the traffic starts to die down in the evening. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and squinting at small screws, but we’re used to it. Being at Ashiq Chock means we see a lot of the town’s life passing by our window. We’re just a local family trying to provide a useful service to our neighbors without any unnecessary fuss or complicated talk. It is a long day sometimes, but having the shop here feels right after all these years of work.
