Usha International Ltd. has its office at 148H in BRS Nagar, Ludhiana. This neighborhood is a bit more settled and residential compared to the heavy industrial zones of the city. Our building sits on a quiet street where you can actually hear yourself think most of the time. Inside, it’s a mix of offices and storage areas where we keep track of everything. We have a small team here, and most of us have worked together for years. We don't really bother with formal corporate culture. Instead, we just sit around the main table and figure out the day’s tasks over breakfast. Ludhiana can get incredibly cold in the winter, so we usually have a small heater going near the desks. The work involves a lot of coordinating with distributors and making sure the supply chain stays moving. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR team. We just answer the phones and reply to the emails as they come in. BRS Nagar is a nice place to be based because it’s easy for people to find us without getting lost in the city center. Sometimes the local kids are playing cricket in the street outside our window. It’s a very grounded way to work. We just focus on the products and the people who need them. It is a steady, reliable rhythm that we’ve built up over many years here. We appreciate the local feel and the familiar faces nearby.
