R. S. Steel Products

At R. S. Steel Products, we spend most of our time out in the workshop. We are located on Street Number 7 in Vijay Inder Nagar, which is inside the Oswal Complex. If you are coming from G.T. Road, you have to look for Venus Plastic because we are right near them. It’s a loud place most of the time because of the steel work going on. There is usually a lot of scrap metal and offcuts lying around until we clear them out on Saturdays. The floors are never really clean, but that’s just how it is with steel. We’ve got a few heavy machines that make a lot of noise, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a break and talk for a few minutes. It’s not a fancy office at all. We have one small room with a desk and some chairs where we keep the records, but mostly we are on our feet. The heat gets pretty bad in the middle of the day, especially near the back of the shed where the ventilation isn't great. We just focus on getting the items finished and loaded onto the trucks. It’s hard work, and our hands are always dirty by the time we leave. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just make the steel products and send them out to whoever ordered them.
