Puran Store

Puran Store is located right in the middle of the Bazaar Area in Ludhiana. As you can imagine, it gets very loud and busy around here. There are people everywhere and bikes zooming past the front door. We have been here at number one for many years now. Our shop is filled with all sorts of things, mostly groceries and small items for the home. It is a bit of a tight fit inside. We have bags of grain stacked up high and jars of spices sitting on the counter. The air always smells a bit like cumin and tea. We know the other shopkeepers around us and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons when things quiet down for a few minutes. Ludhiana is a hardworking city, and we try to keep up with that. We open early to catch the morning crowd. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic in the Bazaar Area, but we manage. We don't use any modern marketing. People just walk in because they know we have what they need. It is a simple place with old wooden counters and a lot of history. We just do our bit every day and help out the people who live and work in this part of town. It is just how life is for us at the store.
