Puran Santosh Embroidery

Our workshop is Puran Santosh Embroidery, located at H.N.-3078 in Model Gram on Street No-4. We are right across from the Government Senior Secondary School. During the day, we can hear the school bells and the kids playing during their break. It is a nice area, a bit quieter than the main markets. We have several embroidery machines lined up in the main room. There are spools of thread in every color you can imagine sitting on the shelves. We spend hours watching the needles go up and down. It is a lot of looking at fine details. Sometimes our eyes get tired, so we take a walk down the street to clear our heads. We have been doing this for quite some time now. We aren't a big factory, just a local spot where we do our best with the designs we get. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello. We don't have a big office, just a small desk where we keep our records. Working in Model Gram is comfortable for us. We just focus on the fabric and the thread, making sure things look the way they are supposed to. It is steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We like the routine and the community we have here on Street 4. It feels like home to us.
