Puneet Arts

Our shop, Puneet Arts, is located at Shop No. 132-A at Vishkarma Chowk. We are right on Ahluwalia Street in Vishwakarma Town, which is a place that never really stays still. There is always someone working on something nearby. We do a lot of hand-painted work and sign making here. The floor of the shop usually has some paint spills on it that we never bothered to scrub off. It gives the place a bit of character, I think. We have brushes of all sizes and tins of paint stacked up on the wooden shelves. My hands are usually covered in some kind of ink or pigment by the end of the shift. It is a small space, so we often have to move our work out onto the pavement when the light inside isn't good enough. The street is full of shops like ours, so there is a lot of noise from hammers and engines all day long. We don't mind it much. People come to us when they need something written out or a board made for their own businesses. We just take the order, figure out the colors, and get to work. It is not a fancy studio, just a hardworking shop in a busy part of town. We’ve been at this spot for years and everyone around knows where to find us. We just keep painting until the light goes down.
