Modgill Sign

We are located right on the Jalandar Delhi Highway, specifically at Basti Jodhewal Chowk. Modgill Sign has been here for a good while, watching the trucks and cars go by all day long. It is a very busy spot because of the highway traffic. Our shop is where we make all sorts of signs and boards. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping things down. We are just a small group of people working here. We don't have a corporate structure or anything like that. We just show up, see what needs to be done, and start working. Sometimes we have to work outside when the signs are too big for the shop floor. Basti Jodhewal Chowk is a landmark that most people know, so it's easy to tell people where we are. We use a lot of different materials, from metal to plastic. The noise from the highway is something you stop noticing after a few weeks. We just focus on the task in front of us. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. It is a practical way to live. We’ve made signs for a lot of the other shops along this road. It feels good to see our work when we are driving around the area. We just keep the lights on and keep at it.
