Presstools.Engg is located at H.No.494/12 in Sita Nagar, which is over in Ludhiana. We just call it Ldh for short around here. It’s a typical small engineering setup. We don't have a fancy factory floor or a big glass entrance like the companies you see in the city center. It’s more of a workshop feel where we deal with press tools and mechanical parts every day. Sita Nagar is a busy area with a lot of small businesses like ours, so there’s always something going on in the streets. We have our machines and our workbenches, and that’s about it for our equipment. We spend most of our time getting our hands dirty and making sure the tools are made right to the specifications we are given. It can get pretty loud when the machines are running, but that’s how you know work is getting done in the shop. We don't have a lot of office staff, maybe just one person to handle the calls and the rest of us are in the back working. Ludhiana is known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the local scene. We’ve been at this house number for a while now. It’s a simple place but it’s ours. We don't bother with fancy brochures or expensive ads to get people through the door. People usually find us because they need something specific made and they heard we were here in Sita Nagar. We just show up every day and do the engineering work.
