Prem Steel Industries

Our workshop is situated right on G T Road in Bhagwan Nagr. If you are looking for us, we are near the Guru Gobindsingh Tower at number 174. It’s a good spot because the transport trucks can get in and out easily from the main road without getting stuck in small alleys. Prem Steel Industries has been around for a bit. We mostly work with steel components and general fabrication. The noise from the G T Road is constant, but you get used to it after a week. We have a small group of workers who handle the cutting and welding. It’s hard work and it gets quite dirty, but it's what we do for a living. We don't spend much time in the office because there's always something to check on the workshop floor. Sometimes the old machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which can take up most of the morning. We don't have any big brochures or fancy websites. Most of our customers are local builders or small shops that need specific steel parts made to order. We keep a stock of the usual sizes, and if we don't have it, we try to source it. Lunch breaks are usually taken together under the shade when it’s sunny outside. It’s a plain business without any frills. We just try to keep the orders moving and make sure the measurements are right for the clients.
