About Prakash Sweets Shop – Food & Beverages in Ludhiana
We open up the shop in Shimlapuri 10 early every morning before the sun really gets going. It is just a small place, really. We spend most of the day in the back working with the milk and sugar. You can usually find one of us standing behind the counter or checking on the big pans. People from around the neighborhood stop by on their way home. Some have been coming here for years, and we know their families by now. It gets quite busy during the festival season, which means less sleep for everyone here. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. The benches are a bit old, but they work fine for sitting while you wait. Sometimes the traffic outside on the street gets loud, especially in the afternoons. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is a lot of hard work, especially in the heat, but it is what we know. We try to keep the floors clean and the display filled up. Sometimes we run out of things early if it is a busy Tuesday. That's just how it goes. We don't spend much time on the computer or anything, mostly we are just busy with the actual sweets. If you walk past, you'll see the steam coming from the kitchen area. It's a simple setup we have here in Shimlapuri. Not much else to say about it, really. Just a regular shop where we make things and sell them to the folks living nearby.
