Dharma Halwai

We have been set up here in Jagraon near the Karyana store for a long time. This spot in Old Ghah Mandi is usually pretty active with people doing their daily shopping. Our day starts way before most people are even awake because the sweets take a lot of time to prep and cook. It’s not a big corporate operation or anything like that. It is just a local shop where we make what people want for their festivals and family gatherings. If you walk by, you can usually smell the sugar syrup or the fried snacks from the street. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, but we keep it clean and keep the food moving. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like when it’s raining and the floor gets a bit messy, but we just keep going. People from around Jagraon H O come to us because we have been here forever and they know what to expect. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people just find us because their parents or neighbors told them where we are. It's a bit of a tight space when it gets crowded on holidays, but we manage to serve everyone eventually. Just a normal place doing normal work for the people living nearby. We like being part of the community here and seeing familiar faces every day.
