Our unit is at E-343 in Phase 4 of Focal Point. We specialize in moulding, which means our place is full of those big machines that press out parts. It gets quite warm inside, especially during the summer months, but the machines have to keep running. We’ve been at this E-343 address for quite some time. It’s a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at from the outside. But inside, we’ve got a lot going on. We work with various types of materials to make parts for different clients. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so it’s a bit of a community feel. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our work comes from people who know us or heard about our work from someone else. The floor is usually covered in some plastic granules, but we try to keep it tidy enough to work safely. Focal Point Phase 4 is a busy area, and there’s always a lot of movement outside. We focus on our own production and try to keep our machines in good shape. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it requires attention to detail. The machines at E-343 have a specific rhythm, a sort of clunking sound that you get used to after a while. If the sound changes, we know something needs oiling. It's those little things you learn when you've been in the same spot for years. That’s just us.
