Pishori Plastics

Pishori Plastics is located right in Lakkar Bazar. If you know the area, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are always walking through. We have been here for a long time selling all sorts of plastic goods. We have everything from small containers for the kitchen to larger items that people use for storage. The shop is usually packed from floor to ceiling, and sometimes it’s hard to even see the walls behind all the merchandise. We spend a lot of time rearranging things so we can actually find what a customer is asking for. Lakkar Bazar is a historic market, so the buildings are old and have a lot of character, but they aren't always easy to maintain. We have to be careful with how we stack things so they don't fall over. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. They know we don't have a lot of room, so they usually just tell us what they need and wait by the door. On rainy days, the water can sometimes leak through the front, so we have to move the stock back quickly. It’s a bit chaotic at times, especially during the festive seasons when everyone is out shopping for their homes. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, in our little corner of the market. It's a lot of lifting and carrying boxes.
