Pasricha Bartan Store

You can find Pasricha Bartan Store at Kot Mangal Singh, Street Number 20, right in the heart of the Main Market. It’s always a bit of a scramble around here because the market is constantly packed with people. Our shop is full of stainless steel, brass, and aluminum pots and pans stacked from the floor nearly to the ceiling. Sometimes it feels like if you pull one ladle out from the bottom, the whole pile might come down, but we have a system for it. People come in looking for things for their kitchens, maybe a new pressure cooker or some plates for a wedding gift. We spend a lot of time wiping dust off the shelves because the street outside is always busy and kicks up a lot of dirt. It’s a family thing, so you’ll usually see a couple of us behind the counter or climbing a ladder to reach the big stock up high. The noise from the street is constant, with rickshaws honking and folks bartering next door. We don't have fancy lights or a big display window, just the goods sitting out where people can see them and touch them. It gets really hectic during the festival seasons when everyone wants new utensils at the same time. We just keep our heads down and serve whoever walks in. It’s a noisy, cramped, and lively way to spend the day in the market.
