Partap Hari Mechanical Works

The doors at Partap Hari Mechanical Works usually open pretty early in Pratap Nagar. Our workshop at 11410 is usually cluttered with tools, spare parts, and whatever machine we are currently tearing down. It is a bit of a mess to an outsider, but I know exactly where the 12mm wrench is hidden. We do a lot of mechanical repairs and custom work for people who bring in their broken equipment. My father started this kind of work years ago, and I just kept it going in the same way. The air always smells like grease and old engine oil, which is something you stop noticing after a few years. Pratap Nagar is a busy area, so we get a lot of people dropping in to ask if we can fix something "real quick." It is never actually quick, but we try to help them out anyway. We have an old workbench that has seen better days, but it is sturdy and gets the job done. I don't use a computer for much besides the basic bills; most of my notes are scribbled on scraps of paper or the back of old envelopes. It is a simple life of turning bolts and figuring out why things aren't spinning the way they should. We just work until the light fades and then lock up the heavy metal shutters for the night.
