P R Plastic

P R Plastic is located in Chaura Bazar, down the I I M Road at number 1490. If you’ve ever been to this part of the market, you know how tightly packed the shops are. We deal in all kinds of plastic goods, so our storefront is usually a wall of bright colors from buckets, tubs, and storage bins. It’s a lot of manual work, stacking and unstacking these things every morning and evening. The shop itself is quite deep, but the aisles are narrow because we try to fit as much as possible inside. It gets quite warm in the summer months because the plastic seems to hold the heat. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few wall fans that move the air around a bit. People come here looking for household items or sometimes bulk stuff for their own small businesses. We handle the cash at a small wooden till near the entrance. Sometimes the I I M Road gets so blocked with carts that we can't even get our own stock through for hours. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how Chaura Bazar is. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, so we spend time talking across the lanes while waiting for customers. It’s a basic operation. We sell plastic, keep the books, and try to stay out of the sun when it’s too bright. Most days we are just moving piles of tubs from one side to the other.
