Oswal Woollen Mills

We are based out of Sherpur, right near the G.T. Road. Being so close to the main road helps a lot with getting things in and out on the big trucks. Oswal Woollen Mills has been a part of this landscape for a while now. The area here in Sherpur is quite industrial, and you can always hear the hum of machines or trucks passing by at all hours. We deal with wool, which means things can get pretty dusty and warm inside the building. It’s a big space because raw wool takes up a lot of room before it is processed into something else. We aren't really a retail shop where you'd come for a single sweater; it’s more of a mill operation. The G.T. Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of movement around us every single day. We have a lot of local workers who have been with us for years and know the machines better than anyone. It’s a practical and tough environment. We focus on the production side of things. Sometimes the weather makes the wool feel heavier to move, but that’s just the nature of the work we do. If you’re driving along the main highway, you’ve probably passed our building plenty of times without thinking much about it. We just keep our heads down and get the milling done. It’s honest work and it’s what we know how to do here in Sherpur. The building itself is older and has seen a lot, but it serves its purpose well enough for us.
