Omkar Traders

Our shop, Omkar Traders, is right across from the government primary school in Vpo Bhattian. You can find us easily if you are traveling along G.T. Road. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the trucks passing by all day and night. The school kids make a lot of noise in the morning and when they leave for the day, which keeps things feeling alive. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It’s a pretty basic setup. We have our stock piled up and a small area where we sit and talk to whoever comes in. The dust from the G.T. Road is a constant battle, but that’s just how it is when you’re on the main highway. We don't have any corporate headquarters or big teams. It’s just us handling the sales and making sure the inventory is right. We know the local farmers and the drivers who stop by regularly. Sometimes we just sit outside on a bench when it's not too hot. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just a couple of ledgers that we keep on the main desk. It works for us. Life in Bhattian is slow compared to the city, but being on the road keeps us on our toes. We don't have any big goals other than keeping the shop running and being there for our regulars. It’s a good, simple life.
