Baser Traders

I spend most of my time here at the shop on the Pimpri Chinchwad Link Road. We are in the Samrala area, specifically around Shri Swami Samarth Nagar. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. You see trucks and bikes going past all day long. Being a trader means you are always checking what’s coming in and what’s going out. The warehouse space isn't perfectly tidy, but we manage to keep things moving. We deal with various goods that people need for their businesses or homes. The address is pretty easy to find once you get on the Link Road. I usually have tea with the guys from the shop next door around eleven. We talk about how the prices of things are going up. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, with a few cracks here and there. We have a small desk in the corner where I do the accounts. It’s a bit cramped with all the ledgers and pens lying around. The sun sets right behind the building, so the evenings are usually quite pleasant. We don’t go in for anything flashy. We just open up the shutters and get to work. People know us for being around for a long time. If someone needs something specific, they usually just give us a call or drop by. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living in a busy part of town.
