Omkar Machine Tools

Our shop is tucked away at 2388 on Street 16 in Parbhat Nagar. Being so close to the Military Camp means we hear the drills sometimes while we’re working on the lathe. We deal with machine tools every day, mostly just fixing things up or making parts that people need for their own shops. It’s a gritty kind of job. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings, and the air smells like cutting oil most of the time. We aren’t big on fancy talk here at Omkar Machine Tools. Usually, we just get a request, look at the specs, and get to work. Sometimes the older machines act up and we have to spend a few hours just getting the alignment right, which can be frustrating but it’s part of the trade. The neighborhood is mostly quiet except for the occasional truck passing through. We’ve stayed in this same spot for years because it works for us. It’s not a polished showroom, just a place where real work happens. My hands are usually stained with grease by noon, and that’s how I know it’s been a productive morning. We handle a lot of different metalwork, depending on what walks through the door. It’s simple, honest labor that requires a bit of patience and a lot of heavy lifting. We just try to do right by the folks who come to us and keep the machines running smoothly.
