New Shri Gobind Gau Dham

New Shri Gobind Gau Dham is situated around the areas of Dandi Suami and Partap Singh Vala in Haibowal Khurad. It is a place dedicated to taking care of cows. We aren't a business in the traditional sense, but we keep things running every day. There is always a lot of hay to move and cleaning to be done. It’s a peaceful spot compared to the rest of the city. We have a few sheds for the cattle and some open space for them to move around. The workers here are mostly local people who grew up around animals. It’s a lot of manual labor, and we are usually tired by the end of the day. We don't have a big office or a marketing department. Most people find out about us by passing by or through their neighbors in Haibowal Khurad. Sometimes people bring over some grain or extra fodder for the animals. We appreciate it when they do. The mud can be a bit much during the monsoon season, so we wear tall boots. It’s just about looking after the animals and making sure they are fed. We don't have a lot of rules, just that everyone helps out with the daily chores. It’s a simple existence here at the Gau Dham. We just take it one day at a time and do what is needed for the welfare of the cows.
