New Look Beauty Parlour & Training Center

Our parlour is tucked away in Street Number 4 of Mahavir Colony. It is in Sunder Nagar, Ludhiana. If you know the area, it is not hard to find us. We have been here in Sunder Nagar for a long time. The place is called New Look, but we have been around long enough that the name is just what people call the corner. We do threading, waxing, and bridal stuff. There is also a training part where I teach younger girls the basics. It is a small space, so we have to be organized. The morning is usually quiet, but by the afternoon, the colony women start coming in. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the wax to heat up. It is a neighborhood shop, so we know most of our customers by their first names. We hear all the local gossip while doing someone's hair. I like teaching because it gives the girls a way to earn. They sit in the back room and practice with the thread on their own knees. It is how we all started. Sometimes the street gets blocked if someone is moving house, but usually, it is just regular traffic. We keep the door open in the winter for the sun. In summer, we stay inside with the cooler. It is a simple life running a parlour here. We just do our work and go home.
