Beauty Touch Salon &Academy

Our place is over at 528 in Sita Nagar, Ludhiana. It’s a bit of a mix here because we have the salon side and then the academy part where people come to learn the trade. It gets quite hectic having students around while also trying to work on regular customers. There’s always someone practicing how to hold shears or learning the right way to mix colors. The tables are usually cluttered with combs, clips, and textbooks. In the mornings, Ludhiana is busy, and Sita Nagar is no different. You can hear the sounds of the street coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time showing the younger ones how to handle different hair types and explaining that it takes practice to get it right. Some days are smoother than others. Sometimes a student drops a comb or gets the water temperature wrong, but that’s how you learn. The mirrors are always covered in fingerprints by noon, so we’re constantly wiping them down. It’s a noisy environment with the hair dryers going and people chatting about their day. We’ve got a lot of different chairs, some for the pros and some for the learners. It’s a practical space where people come to get things done. We don't spend much time on decorations; we just focus on the work at hand and making sure the students are actually paying attention to the details.
