A & A Salon Academy

A & A Salon Academy is over on Circuit House Road in Ludhiana. We are right across from Ansal Plaza on Ferozepur Road. It is a good spot because everyone knows where the mall is. We do two things here. We have the salon part where people get haircuts and we also teach students. It’s a bit noisy because of the teaching. You’ll hear us explaining how to hold scissors or how to mix the hair color. Ludhiana is a fast city so we have to keep up. We have several stations set up for the students to practice. Sometimes the students are nervous, but they learn quickly. We also get regular customers who just want a haircut and don't mind the students watching. It’s not a fancy corporate academy. It’s just us showing how to do the work. We’ve been at this Ferozepur Road location for a while. The traffic outside is always moving. We have some old posters on the walls showing different styles from a few years back. The floor is usually covered in hair until we sweep it up at the end of the hour. We don't have a big reception area, just a desk near the door. People come from all over the city because we are easy to find near the plaza. It’s just honest work teaching the next group of people how to run their own shops and make a living in the industry.
