New Idea Farm Equipment Company is located at 2, Giaspura Road, right near the P.O. Dhandhari Kalan area. If you know the Giaspura Road, you know how busy it gets with all the trucks and loaders moving around. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. We’ve got stacks of parts and metal pieces sitting around, and sometimes it's hard to find a specific wrench when you really need it. The building isn't much to look at, just some bricks and a lot of grease on the floor. We spend most of our time out there with the farm equipment, trying to get things to fit together right. The air usually smells like diesel and old metal. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can’t hear anyone talking, so we just point and nod. Most of the guys who work here have been doing this for a long time, so they don’t need much instruction anymore. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the front. Customers usually find us because they live nearby or someone told them where we were. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, so we keep a few old fans going, but they mostly just move the warm air around. It’s a messy place, but it’s where the work happens every day without much fuss.
