National Milling Works

National Milling Works is situated in Miller Ganj, right near the Ramgarhia Gurdwara. It’s an old part of town with a lot of history and a lot of dust. We do milling work here, which means there is always a bit of noise from the machines running. The sound of the Gurdwara is a constant in the background, which is actually quite nice during the busy hours. We’ve been in Miller Ganj for a long time. It’s a busy industrial pocket where everyone is usually working hard. Our workshop isn't anything special to look at. It has high ceilings and plenty of heavy equipment bolted to the floor. We deal with various materials that need processing. A lot of our customers are local folks who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where we are, tucked away near the temple. The air always smells a bit like whatever we are grinding that day. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest the machine. It’s a bit messy sometimes with shavings and scraps, but that’s the nature of milling. We keep our tools sharp and our heads down. It’s the kind of place where you get your hands dirty. We just try to get the jobs done on time without too much fuss. There’s always work to be done and we just keep at it day after day without complaining much.
