Naresh Sewing Machine Company

Our shop is located at 40399 Lakkar Bazar, right inside the Kamal Sagar Co-Operative Housing Society area in Rcf Colony. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most people around here just know us by the sign out front. We spend most of our time covered in grease and oil because sewing machines are finicky things. People bring in old machines that haven't worked in years, and we spend hours taking them apart to find that one tiny spring that snapped. It’s a lot of sitting hunched over a workbench with small screwdrivers and magnifying glasses. The shop is pretty small, and there are old metal parts in jars everywhere. Sometimes we can't find the part we need right away and have to dig through the back storage for a while. It’s not a very clean job, but we like fixing things that people thought were broken for good. We get all sorts of customers, from grandmothers who love their old Singer machines to younger folks trying to learn how to sew for the first time. The housing society is usually quiet, but we make a bit of noise when we're testing the motors. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just open the doors in the morning and see who walks in. It’s simple work and it keeps us busy enough.
