Narayan Steels

Our business, Narayan Steels, is situated at Plot No-260 in the Focal Point area, right near the Aayat Hotel. This is an industrial part of town, so it’s always loud with the sound of machinery and trucks. We deal mostly in steel products like rods, sheets, and various scraps. The yard is usually full of heavy metal piles, and it can get quite greasy and dirty. We wear boots all day because of the sharp edges and heavy stuff lying around. Our small office is basically just a tin shed with a table and a few chairs. It gets very hot in there during the summer months. We don't have any marketing brochures or sales teams. People who need steel know where Focal Point is and they find us easily enough. Most of our work involves loading and unloading materials using the old crane we have out back. It’s noisy and physical work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been at this plot for a long time and know all the neighbors. The Aayat Hotel nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a showroom. We just provide the steel that people order for their projects. It’s a tough business, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the ropes. We usually finish the day pretty tired and ready for home.
