Mohan Shoppe

We opened up Mohan Shoppe here in Shastri Nagar quite a few years back. It is right near Mint Gumri Chowk, so most people around here know exactly where we are without looking at a map. 193-A is just a regular building, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it's mostly just us keeping things organized and making sure there is stuff on the shelves for anyone who stops by. Some days it gets pretty busy when the local traffic picks up around the chowk, but mostly it is a steady pace. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. People come in to pick up what they need and usually stay for a minute to talk about the weather or whatever else is happening on the street. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work with the space we have. Sometimes the deliveries arrive a bit late because of the narrow roads around here, but that is just part of living and working in Shastri Nagar. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here. My uncle used to run things, and now we just keep it going day by day. It’s a simple life, mostly just checking inventory and talking to the regulars who have been coming since they were kids. We try to keep things tidy, though it gets dusty pretty quick and the shelves always seem to need dusting again by the evening time.
