Industrial Area-B is a loud place, full of factories and trucks moving all day long. We are tucked into number 438, and we’ve been here for a lot of years now. Our name is on the door, but most people just know us by sight. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy chairs or a lobby. It’s a working building. We deal with whatever comes our way, mostly metal and hardware parts that people need for their own shops. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a mess, but we still open up on time. We have a few guys who have worked here since they were young. We don't spend money on big ads because the work speaks for itself mostly. You come in, you tell us what you need, and we see if we have it in the back. It’s a lot of manual lifting and checking lists. We don't use computers for everything, some stuff is still in the old ledgers because that’s how we learned. It might seem a bit slow to an outsider, but we know where everything is. Industrial Area-B has changed, new buildings going up all around, but 438 stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and try to finish the day’s work before the sun goes down and the traffic gets too bad to move. It is a simple life here and we like it.
