Chhajju Singh & Sons has been running things out of 616, Industrial Area-B for a very long time now. Since we are located on Satsang Road, we are right in the middle of the local industrial district. The name on our sign belongs to the family, and that is exactly how we have always run the business. It is a family-operated spot where everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. The air around here is usually thick with the smell of grease and cut metal, which is something we have just grown used to over the years. Our building is very practical and does not have any extra frills. We have just enough space for the machinery and a small corner where we keep the records and the desk. We mostly handle different industrial parts and provide services for the other local businesses nearby. There is a real sense of community here in Area-B. You might help a neighbor with a specific tool one day, and they will return the favor a week later. We do not have any marketing people or anyone to write up fancy advertisements for us. We just talk directly to the people who need our help and then we get to work. Some days can be very long, especially when a big order needs to be finished before the morning. We have seen the whole neighborhood change as the years go by, but we have stayed right here at 616. It is just what we do every single day.
