Sita Ram & Sons

We are over here in Gud Mandi, right in the middle of Chaura Bazar. If you know this part of town, you know it gets really crowded and loud most days. Sita Ram & Sons has been around for a long time now. My father started things, and we just kept going with it. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us working out of this spot. Every morning we open up the shutters and start the day. Sometimes the tea guy comes by, and we sit for a minute, but usually, it's just work. We deal with what we have to, and we talk to the same people every week. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep. You get used to the smell of the market after a while. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty. It's more about getting the job done and making sure everything is counted right. People know where to find us if they need something. We've seen the streets change over the years, new shops coming and going, but we stayed right here in the same place. It's not always easy, especially when the rain makes the roads messy. But it’s what we do. We just keep the records, talk to the regulars, and go home when the sun goes down. It's a simple way of living, really. Nothing more to it than that.
