Adiba Handloom Shawls

You can find Adiba Handloom Shawls in Mochpura Bazar. We are right opposite the Wool Market Wali Street. It’s a very traditional area, very busy with people selling all kinds of textiles and wool. Our shop is quite small, but it's packed with shawls from floor to ceiling. The air always smells a bit like wool and old wood. I’ve been working here for a long time, and the street outside never seems to get any quieter. We don't have a big fancy display window. Usually, we just pile the shawls up so people can see the colors. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we are busy showing things to customers. Handloom work takes time, and we try to respect that. We aren't interested in being a big chain. This shop in the bazar is enough for us. The floor is a bit uneven, and the walls need a new coat of paint, but it feels like a real place. People come here because they know the market. We sit on the floor mostly when we are sorting through the new arrivals. It’s hard work on the back, but it's what we know. If you walk past the wool market, you’ll see us there. We don't use any loud music or bright lights to get attention. Just the shawls and us. Some days are slow, but the neighborhood is always full of life. It’s a good way to spend the day.
