You can find us over at Dugri Mangaldas Estate, specifically at number 13243. This place has been our base for a long time. It’s an industrial estate, so there’s always something going on nearby—usually someone loading a truck or the sound of another shop working. Our main thing is welding. The shop is filled with tanks, masks, and various metal scraps. It’s a bit dark inside because we need to keep the light controlled for the welding arcs, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. We’re not a huge company with a lot of layers. It’s just a few of us who know how to join metal together properly. The air always has that distinct smell of burnt metal and ozone. It doesn’t bother us anymore. We don't have a polished website or a marketing person. Most of our day is spent under a helmet or preping pieces for the next weld. Sometimes the estate gets a bit crowded with vehicles, but we manage our space okay. We keep some cold water in a small fridge for the hot afternoons. It’s hard, physical work, but it’s what we’ve always done. We just focus on the bead and making sure the joint is solid. It’s a simple life here in the estate, and we wouldn’t know what else to do with our time anyway.
