Mayfair Industries

Mayfair Industries is tucked away in the Industrial Area at Bhavani Shankar. It is a straightforward setup with a few rows of machines and a space for packing. We spend our days making sure the production line keeps moving without too many hiccups. Sometimes a belt snaps or a motor gets stubborn, and then we have to stop everything to fix it ourselves with the tools we have on hand. The walls here could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the actual work to worry about how the building looks from the outside. The Bhavani Shankar area is full of shops like ours, so there is always a bit of a buzz in the morning when everyone starts their engines. We keep a small kettle in the corner for tea breaks, which is the only time the place goes quiet for a few minutes. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or bike in. We don't have any big corporate policies; we just tell people what needs to be done and they do it. It is mostly about keeping the quality steady and not wasting materials. The paperwork gets piled up on the wooden table in the front, and I try to clear it every Friday. It is just a regular factory doing its job day after day without any fuss or complicated long-term plans.
