Chitkara Hardware & Paint Store

Chitkara Hardware & Paint Store is located at 2 Rahon Road in the Waraich Market area. Our shop is right next to the juice shop, so we always have the sound of the blender and the smell of fresh fruit coming through the door. It’s a busy little market where everyone knows each other. Our store is quite packed with shelves of paint tins and hardware supplies. There isn't much room to walk around when we get a new shipment in. We usually have to stack things on the sidewalk for a bit until we can find a place for them inside. It’s a bit messy, but that is just how it goes in a small market shop. People stop by for a chat while they are waiting for their juice, and sometimes they remember they need a new faucet or some sandpaper. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep our receipts and a cup of tea. The walls are covered in color charts that have faded a bit over time. We don't really bother with decorating the place. It’s a practical shop for people who need to get things fixed. The sun hits the front of the store in the afternoon, making it quite bright and warm inside. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find anything, even in the dark. It is just a regular life here on Rahon Road.
