Kuldeep Hardware Stores

The shop is located down in the industrial suburb over on Dhuri Line. It’s a busy spot with a lot of noise from the nearby factories. We keep a lot of different things on the shelves, from small screws to bigger tools that people need for their daily work. Most of the time it looks like a bit of a mess because we have so many small items tucked away in corners. If you need a specific bolt, we usually know exactly which drawer it is in even if it doesn't look organized to anyone else. We spend most of our day helping people find stuff for repairs. It gets quite hot in here during the summer months but we keep the fan running. We’ve been at this location, number 1136, for a long time now. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and workshops. We don't really do much advertising because people just know we are here. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken part and asks if we have something that matches it. We do our best to find a fit. It's a lot of standing around and talking to regulars. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning. It’s just a regular hardware store trying to keep up with what the local workers need. Nothing more to it than that. We usually keep some spare bags for customers and the floor is always a bit gritty from people walking in and out all day. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes, but it’s a place where you can get what you need for a fair deal.
