Alfa Tools

If you find yourself near Sherpur Chowk, you’ve probably passed by our place without thinking much about it. We are located at B29/32, quite close to the Apollo Hospital. Being near a big landmark like that makes it easy to give directions, at least. At Alfa Tools, we keep things pretty basic. The shop is filled with various bits of machinery and parts that we’ve collected and sold over time. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time just talking to customers about what they’re trying to build or fix. Sometimes they bring in a broken part, and we spend a while figuring out the best replacement. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know. The traffic at the chowk can get pretty bad around five in the evening, so we usually use that time to catch up on paperwork or clean the benches. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Word of mouth is mostly how people find us. A neighbor tells a friend, and then they show up asking for a specific wrench or a drill bit. We like it that way. It keeps the business feeling personal and real. No one is putting on a show here; we’re just here to provide the tools that help people get their own work done. It’s a simple way to spend a day, and it has worked for us for years now.
