Mastana Mechanical Works

You can find us right across from Kailash Cinema in Rajinder Nagar. It's a pretty easy landmark if you're coming through the Civil Lines area. We’ve been at 1226/3 for a long time now. People usually drop by when they have something mechanical that needs fixing or if they're looking for specific parts. It’s a typical workshop atmosphere with tools scattered on the benches and the smell of grease in the air. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't under a machine at the moment. The traffic outside can get a bit much, especially when there's a popular movie playing at the cinema. We just focus on the work at hand. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought, and other times it’s a quick fix. We don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. It's just mechanical stuff. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know our way around engines and metal parts. We keep the shop open early and stay until the work is finished for the day. There isn't much to say other than we work hard and stay busy in our little corner of Rajinder Nagar.
