Maria Steel Limited

You can find Maria Steel Limited over at 410 in Industrial Area-A. It’s a busy part of town, always full of trucks and the sound of machinery. Our building is pretty much what you’d expect for a steel place. It’s big, a bit dark inside, and smells like iron and grease most of the time. We spend our days moving heavy loads and making sure the inventory is right. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. Most of us are in work clothes that get stained pretty fast. We’ve been in this industrial zone for quite a while now. We know most of the other businesses nearby, and we often help each other out when someone is short on a part or needs a hand with something heavy. The office is just a small corner walled off from the main floor so we can hear ourselves talk over the noise. It gets pretty hot in the summer, especially near the back of the building, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just handle steel and make sure it gets to where it’s supposed to go. It’s hard work, and sometimes things go wrong, like a crane sticking or a delivery being late. We just fix it and keep the day moving forward as best as we can. There's always a lot of clanging and banging going on around our yard.
