Malwa Public School

Malwa Public School is out in Village Bondli, which sits right on the Chandigarh Road near Samrala. It’s a very easy place to spot because of its location on the main road. Since we are in a village area, we have a good amount of space around the building. The playground is mostly just a flat, open area of dirt where the kids play cricket or run around when they aren't in class. There are some big trees near the boundary walls that give a little shade when it gets very hot in the summer months. The school building itself is a solid, simple structure with several classrooms. Inside, the rooms have basic furniture and big windows to let the light in. The teachers mostly live in Samrala or the other small villages nearby, so everyone knows each other quite well. In the mornings, you can see the school buses arriving from the different routes, bringing in kids from all over the local area. It can get quite chilly in the winter, and the students all wear their heavy sweaters to the morning assembly. We don’t have any fancy technology or labs, just the usual boards and textbooks. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place that has been serving the families of Bondli for a long time. People here trust the school because it’s been a part of the landscape for so many years. We just keep the gates open and the lessons going without much fuss.
