Makhan Sewing Machine Company is over at Dashmesh Nagar inside the Kakadia Complex. We have been here for a long time now, focusing on sewing machines and everything related to them. The Kakadia Complex is a busy little hub and we are just one of the many shops tucked inside. We spend our days surrounded by iron frames, needles, and bobbins. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in the shop because we try to keep as many models as we can in stock. People come in from all over Dashmesh Nagar when they want a machine that actually lasts. We are not into big sales pitches or anything like that. We just show people how the machines work and let them decide. Often, someone will bring in an old machine that was their grandmother’s and ask if we can get it running again. We enjoy that kind of work. It is quiet inside the complex compared to the main road, which is nice. We have a couple of stools where customers can sit while we look at their machines. There is always a bit of thread on the floor and the smell of machine oil in the air. We are just a small local team trying to provide what the tailors and home sewers in our area need. It is a simple business and we like keeping it that way without any fuss. It works for us and our customers seem to like it.
